Mandan Zombie Run 5k

October 14, 2017

Attention, Attention! The Zombie infestation is imminent. Reports indicate Mandan will be overrun with zombies Saturday, October 14 during the Mandan Zombie run 5K. Think you have what it takes to survive?

Mandan Zombie Run is a 5K “chase or be chased” run around Prairie West Golf Course.

The race features two type of runners: Humans and Zombies.

Human runners wear flag-football flags. The flags represent lives. Your goal is to reach the safe zone with at least one flag. If you lose all your flags, you become infected. But don’t give up! Continue to the safe zone because there might just be an antidote.

Zombie runners are released approximately one minute after the human runners start the race. Zombies will collect as many lives (flags) as they can with the goal of infecting all the humans trying to reach the safe zone.

Check-in starts at 5 p.m. All registrations receive a Zombie Survival Kit, Race Bib, Event T-shirt and Medal. Other activities include door prizes, costume contest, food and music.

Funds raised support Mandan youth recreational groups, participating non-profits and the Mandan Zombie Run event.
