Soccer Field Naming Rights

MANDAN, N.D. – The Mandan Park Board approved the naming rights for the Dacotah Centennial Park Soccer Field, now officially named Dakota Community Bank & Trust Soccer Field, on Wednesday, February 14. The agreement includes official naming rights of the high school competitive field and high school crow’s nest structure in exchange for $125,000.

Mandan Girls Soccer Boosters secured the sponsorship with Dakota Community Bank & Trust along with a contribution from Mandan Public School and the Mandan Park District each in the amount of $10,000. Mandan Park District will develop a timeline of construction that meets weather conditions and coordinate the construction project.

Dakota Community Bank & Trust have always been a proud sponsor of Mandan Parks and Recreation. Throughout the past year they sponsored Starion Sports Complex hockey scoreboards, baseball’s concession stands and now the soccer field. “For years, Dakota Community Bank has been a longtime supporter and dedicated partner with Mandan Park District and the growth of its programs and facilities,” said Cole Higlin, Mandan Park District Director.

Dakota Community Bank brand will be prominent on the Crow’s Nest building and in other areas near or around the fields.  Shelly Osborn, Mandan Girls Soccer Booster President, added, “The Mandan Girls Soccer Booster Club is extremely thankful to the Dakota Community Bank & Trust for their financial support in this project. Mandan Park District provides high quality soccer fields and now, with the addition of the Crow’s Nest and protected benching for our players and coaches, this will offer the necessary protection from the elements and a well-equipped facility.”
