The Mandan Parks and Recreation is proud to announce Kelly Thomas as the Marketing and Foundation Manager for Mandan Parks and Recreation. Thomas is expected to assume this role on January 1, 2023.
Thomas’s appointment marks the first full-time Marketing and Foundation Manager for Mandan Parks and Recreation. She has been employed with Mandan Parks and Recreation for over 8 years and currently serves as the Marketing Specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Business Degree in Marketing from the University of North Dakota and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from University of Mary. Thomas also serves as a board member for the Mandan Progress Organization.
The Mandan Parks and Recreation Foundation was officially established in April of 2022. The Mandan Parks and Recreation Foundation is a permanent Community Foundation that will support our community for years to come. Earnings from the Foundation are given to support Mandan’s parks, recreational facilities and trail system. The Mandan Parks and Recreation Foundation works to improve our community and the quality of life of our citizens.
