MANDAN, N.D. – At the Monday, August 12 Mandan Park Board meeting, the Mandan Boat Ramp at Car Bodies bids were awarded contingent on securing all permits before proceeding with construction.
The bids were awarded to Prairie View Excavating in the amount of $1,079,683 and Edling Electric in the amount of $49,500. The project was also awarded the Sovereigns Land Grant in the amount of $800,000. The grant is administered through ND State Parks and Recreation Department.
This project is a partnership between Mandan Park District, Morton County, and the City of Mandan. The boat ramp will be located along the Missouri River Natural Area also known as Car Bodies. The boat ramp will be accessible to patrons in Mandan, Bismarck, and surrounding areas.
