The Mandan Baseball Club is responsible for facilitating and paying for the $5 million dollar renovation. The new features include the following:
- Synthetic turf on Diamonds 9 & 10
- Press box and permanent bleachers on Diamond 9, seating for approximately 115 people
- New dugouts on Diamond 9 & 10
- New batting cages between Diamonds 9 & 10
- New grading for the outfield on Diamond 9 & 10
- 20 ft fence on Diamond 9 located in left field for fan protection
Diamonds 9-12 are used for T-ball, Pee Wee, Midget, Cal Ripken, Chiefs, A’s and 78’s. The fields get used by ages 5-18.
The last renovation of Mandan’s Youth Complex was completed in 1999 with a partnership between Mandan Parks and Recreation and Mandan Kiwanis.
